My 23rd Birthday Photo Collection

D90 Collection

I apologise if I assumed the wrong person taking photos with the D90. Thanks for the photos, all the same.

Group A's 'Knife' Series

Just to calm your nerves, no one was harmed during these photo shots with the knife (and in the McBeth Collection) - it's all an act of creativity.

Group A's Photos

The next few posts...

The next few posts I'm going to do are photos from my 23rd birthday party. I decided to do something a bit creative outside the conventions of your average birthday get together, and make it a photographic experience. People brought cameras (or shared and modelled in photos) and we looked at each other's photos at the end of it. We found the best way to do it was to make it a time limited, group photographic experience in the outdoors. These are some of the photos that came out of this experience.

If you think that this could be an interesting experience to have, let me know. I have thought about doing another event like this (just for the photography aspect - not birthday), but for those who are eager and interested in making it better.

I hope you enjoy, and I haven't stated anyone's names due to privacy, but I have received permission to post the people photographed.

Worth 1%?

Okay, I found this on a kerb and thought it was funny. Who's house is only worth 1%? Some person decided to express this in chalk.

Tramline Reflection

I took this photo in Melbourne in 2009 whilst waiting for the tram.

Blown Up Car

I took this photo on the corner of the exit to Roe Highway on Clayton Street in Bellevue/Midvale a few years ago. It was an exploded car on the side of the road and I thought it would be a great opportunity for a photo.

Coca-Cola at Kings Park

I took this photo at Kings Park several years ago.

Fremantle Woolstores

These are some photos that I took outside the run down Woolstores building in Fremantle in December 2010. I didn't take the Joy Men photo there - I took that on the way there! A bit more urban photography.
